This Privacy Policy explains how Sanare Lab Ltd (“Sanare Lab”, “we”, “us”) uses information on the website sanarelab.science and in our internal advertising application Brain, which we operate with the Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

1. The Brain application

Brain is a private tool used only by Sanare Lab staff to manage our own advertising accounts. It is not offered to the public, it has no public sign-up, and it does not use Facebook Login to sign in visitors.

Through the Meta Marketing API, Brain reads and manages data that belongs to our own business accounts:

  • identifiers and settings of our ad account, Facebook Page (Sanare Lab) and Instagram business account (@sanarelab);
  • our campaigns, ad sets, ads and creative content, and their aggregated performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, conversions);
  • definitions and approximate sizes of our custom audiences, and event counts reported by our Meta Pixel on our own websites.

Brain does not collect passwords, payment card numbers or private messages, does not build profiles of individual Facebook or Instagram users, and does not receive personal profile data of the people who see our ads beyond the aggregated reporting Meta provides to advertisers.

2. Why we use this information

We use it to create, run, measure and improve our own advertising, to keep accurate reports, and to keep our accounts secure. We do not sell this information and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that help us operate our systems (for example hosting), under confidentiality obligations.

3. Storage, security and retention

Access tokens and data are kept in access-controlled systems of Sanare Lab and are available only to authorised staff. We keep campaign reports while the advertising accounts are active and delete or anonymise them when they are no longer needed. We remove the access of Brain at any time on request of the account owner.

4. Information on this website

  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used (pages viewed, general location, device type).
  • Meta Pixel: our pages may send events (such as page views or clicks to our shop) to Meta so that we can measure and show our ads. You can control ad personalisation in your Meta account settings.
  • Protocol calculator: the weight, doses and dates you enter are used only in your browser and, if you request an email summary, to compose that one message. They are not stored on our servers.
  • Newsletter: if you tick the box when requesting a calculator email, or subscribe on the site, your email address is stored with our email provider (MailerLite) to send research updates. Every message contains an unsubscribe link.

5. Your choices and data deletion

You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or withdraw a consent at any time. To request deletion: email support@sanarelab.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and the email address concerned. We confirm the request and delete the data from our systems and email lists within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it. Data held by Meta, Google or other platforms is managed through their own privacy settings.

6. Children

Our website and tools are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
